Old Orchard Beach – Maine

Old Orchard Beach brings to mind Canadian tourists, cold ocean water, the neon and noise of “The Pier” and not much else. We spent some just up the road from Old Orchard Beach, at Pine Point, you can actually see The Pier from where we stayed, but thankfully couldn’t hear it. As a photographer that lives in the mountains I really enjoy some time by the ocean, it’s vastly different. The reflections, constant motion and sounds push and pull unlike the sometimes constant winds rolling through the mountains and valleys of the White Mountains.
